I’m here to fulfill my promise made a month ago. But before I begin rambling, I’d like to wish a Happy New Year and Happy New Decade to one and all!
Much has happened since I last blogged, most significantly JCPBF ’09. Also, I managed to catch Avatar, as well as Holmes. And I think I’ve really been spending a lot lately, so much so that my bank account is almost as dry as the Sahara. Therefore……I need a job. Either that, or an internship to keep myself busy. So, if any of you reading this have any lobang…please please please let me know. Thanks!
On the other hand, life these few days have been really mundane, perhaps to juxtapose how happening the past few weeks have been for me. It’s pretty amazing how quickly time flies, and we’re on to a new decade already. I can still remember the hype over the new millennium…and that was actually a decade ago! WOW! I guess that totally refutes what Madonna said – “time goes by…so slowly”. The IB Examinations ended approximately one and a half months ago, but it definitely feels as if years went by. On the same note, results are 4 days away!! HORRORS!! And I guess I’m starting to feel the anxiety seeping in gradually, and as I would always say – “hope for the best and be prepared for the worst”. Then again, half of me can’t wait for 6th January to come, simply because I cannot look beyond that date. I really do not know what’s in store for me after that. It’s as if 6th January has blocked my line of vision, probably also because it’ll be the day that determines the road which I’ll tread on in the not-so-near future.
Nonetheless, let me give a brief update on what’s to come this year.
March 6 Westwinds Concert (which I guess I’ll be performing…so please support!!)
March 11 – 26 Europe Trip (Italy, Switzerland, Germany, France, UK)
April 28 NS
I’m actually planning to bookwhore in the months to come so that I can actually keep my brain occupied during this 2 years long hiatus from studying, lest my brain degenerates. Until next time!
